OK I have a Brother Printer DCP-130C I donwloaded the drivers from Brother and ran the PKG loaders, the printer was available upon restart but I got an annoying popup message that wouldn't seem to go away, and there was no way to get rid of the error message. Now to cut a long story short it seems that if you load the twain drivers for Brothers Multi Function Devices it causes this issue. Don't panic reinstal lthe very same driver you downloaded and it seems to correct the error. Don't ask me why (I could guess) but after checking a few forums it seems that this did the trick for a few people.
