OK you've hit the Rugby Page so I'll give you a little info info about my Rugby life.
I started playing Rugby at school in my last year becoming team Captain, my position was Hooker normally the number 2 for those uninitiated, and yes I've heard all the jokes.
After leaving schoolI decided to play for a local Jnr team the Northampton Casuals (currently level 7 in the UK), I played firstly in the colts again in my last year becoming Captain. I then played in the Casuals 1st 2nd and 3rd teams over the following years. No major trophies, but hey I did play against the Saints when we opened the new changing rooms.
That brings me onto the fact that I support the Saints being from Northampton what else is there to do !
So I decided to start Reffing after the 2003 World Cup as I had stopped playing and I thought that it was about time to put something back into the game that had given me so much enjoyment.
So on the 11th Sep 2004 I did my first game for East Midlands Referees (EMRURS), it was a gentle 3rd team game at St Neots, a bright sunny day which I thoroughly enjoyed, now I was hooked (get it get it!).
I will try and do a blog (see the bar at the top) for those of you interested of what happens from now on, comments well they will be expected......
